A cultural programme of songs, poetry recitation and dances put up by school children on the occasion of Founder’s Day on 4 January was held on 12 January. Annual sit-and-draw, poetry and singing competition was also held on the same day. The prizes were given away on the same day. The enclosed link contains video clips and photos of the programme and competition. Annual Sports were held on 27 and 28 January. Traditionally it's held in a nearby ground owned and managed by a local club. There were usual events of one race and another sporting activity per class. For fathers of children, there was a racing competition and for mothers 'musical chair. The event ended with a 'Go-as-You-Like' competition in which children were dressed as different personalities or characters. Prizes were given away on the same day. Saraswati Puja – festival of the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom – is held every year usually with enthusiastic participation of both students and school staff. In 2015, Saraswati Puja fell on 24 January. As per tradition an annual feast for all school kids was organised on the following Saturday - 31 January. The enlaced video contains a clip and a few photos. 2015 Annual Function and Prize Distribution Ceremony were held with the usual gaiety and fanfare. It was held on 17 March, the birthday of the person frequently referred to as the ‘soul of the school’ – late Mr. Chaitanyadeb Chattopadhyay. As is the tradition, the programme was held in Bally Rabindra Bhawan. Apart from giving away prizes for academic and overall performances in 2014, there were chorus songs, acting performances to poetry recitations, group dances and a dance drama by school kids.
